Rodham grew to become the primary director of a model new authorized assist clinic on the college, the place she secured help from the local bar association and gained federal funding. As a court-appointed lawyer, Rodham was required to behave as defense counsel to a man accused of raping a 12-year-old woman; after her request to be relieved of the assignment failed, Rodham used an effective protection and endorsed her shopper to plead guilty to a lesser charge. During her time in Fayetteville, Rodham and several other ladies founded the town's first rape crisis center. After graduating from Wellesley College in 1969, Hillary entered Yale Law School where she met Bill Clinton. In 1974, on the top of the Watergate scandal, Hillary labored on the employees aiding the House Judiciary Committee with its investigation of the Nixon administration.
